THE ALBERT NERKEN SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

This is a senior-level elective course following Physical Chemistry. It is offered once every two years or so, depending on demand. All of the core material recommended by the American Chemical Society is covered, as well as selected advanced topics including molecular point groups, symmetry and spectroscopy.

Inorganic Chemistry, 5th edition, by Miessler, Fischer and Tarr (2014). Published by Pearson and available in both electronic and hardcopy formats.
